That can be got out no worries by someone with the skills.. the worst case scenario is that you are going to have to take the head off and get it helicoiled or what not.

Can you get it to a local welder? get a nut on it..lots of plus gas and take it out.

There are loads of studs in loads of bikes waiting to snap...

One thing - why did you think you had leaking exhaust gaskets?

I can only see what remains of one stud, did you remove the other one,
If so and the only problem is that one stud then it's a piece of piss, weld a nut on the remains of the stud let it cool turn it out with a spanner.if you did not remove the other stud but can see some stud flush with the hole cover the hole with a nut and weld though stud to nut again let it cool and remove with spanner.

Ever heard of locking vicegrips?!
Get a good set of bull nosed locking vicegrips, and it'll comr out no worries, you wont be able to turn it much, but thats exactly how I got mine out.

Have someone weld a nut on, as suggested above. As long as you have at least that much showing you'll be ok. Would've been easier if you'd taken it straight to a man with a welder though, you could have thread a nut on, one blob of weld, and you were on your way.

Still, we all have to learn somehow.

What a strange reason to remove the exhaust.

You can't see if a gasket is leaking by removing it. Get somebody to cover the end-can with the engine running and listen around the joints for a blowing noise.

You'll only see a leak by removing the manifolds et al if theres very obvious soot marks, but that whole area can get dirty so difficut to see and wouldn't pick up a clean blow. Covering the end-can is the easiest way.

You snapped some of the studs. A bit late but soak them in lots of penetrating oil.

That front one will be easy to get out by somebody who knows what they are doing, there is lots of stud showing, also a few ways to go about it. Get someone else to take it out for you before you make it worse and destroy it.

The rear 3 you can get to quite easily, remove the heat-shield if it's getting in your way, I always get at the top one by using a spanner through where the rear-side panel would sit.

Perhaps the best idea is to get somebody who is a comptenent mechanic to help you do a few jobs with the bike. That way you'll learn a lot more than to keep breaking everything panicking and posting a thread on here every-day. While there are lots of good answers and knowledge on here, having somebody there with you to help work through the bike and you'll learn a lot more, and also might avoid breaking things all together and save yourself some money.
