Nitron RVF400 NC35 shock onto NC30?
Pretty simple question.
Will an NC35 shock bolt onto an NC30?
This is not for a standard shock but for an aftermarket Nitron NTR? Race shock that has NC35 listed on the packaging. It's 2nd hand but as new and forsale at what I believe is a reasonable price? (255gbp)
Sample image:

I don't mind faffing around if I have to to an extent but if it's a mission i'll wait for somethign else to turn up.
So if I can fit it to my NC30 i'll be overjoyed as it's using the original K shock at the moment, although this feels rather solid I can only imagine what a newer one will feel like :)
I know the dogbone is preferable for the 17" conversion but what about the shock?

Should fit no problem mate, afaik all aftermarket nc30 and 35 shocks are the same. If anything it might be 5mm longer

Yep, I looked up and noticed there different part numbers, hence it being listed for an NC35, was wondering if it would fit is all.marcus57 wrote:Nc35 nitron 'race' shock part no NTR Race - NTBKH36R

Awesome stuff, just as Marcus has highlighted they are listed as different part-numbers (which did concern me slightly)Drunkn Munky wrote:Should fit no problem mate, afaik all aftermarket nc30 and 35 shocks are the same. If anything it might be 5mm longer
I think the shop will be ok for me to return it should it not fit properly.
Final question, do you think the asking price is reasonable? Heard any comments about these shocks? (i've already looked on the net, just after members personal opinons) It's been fitted to a bike at sometime but looks brand new, no markings or sign of weeping from the shock so it's not had too much use.
Seems the cheapest aftermarket shock i've seen yet which is why i'm considering it.
Many thanks :-)

I has a brand new one and the bike I bought already had one fitted, seemed pointless selling the new one .Neosophist wrote:Nice one, will have a good inspection of it next weekend and if all is gravy make a purchase.marcus57 wrote:I have the nirton shock and I think it's fantastic also payed £500 for it, sold a second hand one the other day for £300

I think thats a bargin. It will 100% bolt in ok, shock fitment is exactly the same for the 30 and 35 yet the 35 uses a bolt type fork that fixes to the top shock mount and then to the frame. On the 30 the top shock mount bolts directly to the frame. Thinking about it theres probably no difference in shock length as the height difference between the 2 bikes is taken up in the suspension linkages, ive no idea why they have different part numbers
