Filler cap removal

Post by rossrs »

Hi
How would one go about removing a filler cap from a 35 tank....without a key. Is it a drill the lock out affair or is there a simpler way?

That's what I thought, but the lock itself actually locks into the tank. It drilled off really easily, used a 90 degree spotting drill because they're super rigid and don't waggle and snag as badly as a normal drill. It's off now, just need a cap!
