How far does the NC30's rear wheel move vertically?

Post by tanto »

I'm about to fabricate an under-tray in aluminium and I'd like to make a bit more room for under-seat storage. In normal road use, and using a standard (recon) Showa rear shock, can anyone say how far the NC30's rear wheel moves vertically? Is it possible the tyre moves into the recess above the rear wheel with a 12 stone rider on board?

I've seen signs of my swingarm moving up around 10-20mm at the down pipes, that translates to a bigger travel at the wheel, with a crb600 rear shock with standard spring there's not a great deal of room left esp on crap roads.
