I'm struggling to explain what i mean without people jumping to conclusions.

It felt like his bike didn't want to steer properly. Whether because my steering is light and i'm used to it and ricky's isn't so light and felt unusual. Ricky's is the bike i've riden with a steering damper so perhaps it was that which caused it to feel wierd.

I've riden a fair few bikes. 50, 125's, 400 and 1200 none of which had wierd and unusual steering or a steering damper.
That's because people read what you write!

You originally put when you try to go left the bike feels like it's going right?

Do you mean it runs wider than you expected in a turn?

I think somebody else needs to ride ricks bike!

And PS: More pics of the RVF!

uber pikey has and made no complaints, only thing we both compared was brakes and clutch,

i have SP1's with new pads and discs he had stock,
and his clutch was better than mine at the time as i had poorly/over adjusted mine :D

so between to VFRs there was no complaints,
