No air in the forks (am getting some spacers made, should stiffen them up... :( ) back was wound all the way in due to the former owner being of a larger build ;) - is now 1/4 of the way in, checked head bearings, wheel bearings, tyre pressures etc - is superfine in the dry, quite chuckable, just evil in the wet??

Aah, lemme know how you get on with stiffer forks.

If the owner was heavy ish it might have worn the forks more.

I'm only 9 stone but I have my suspension all the way to 'Hard' at the back too.

Im 13 1/2, quite liked the solid feel to the back but it would bouce me out of the seat over small lumps/roadworks/draincovers etc...quite plush now and handles better if anything??

Been riding my girls NC23 most of the weekend - get on with it better regarding the general handling, lots better! Am inclined to leave the 24 as it is until I get an RVF?? ;)

Fair enough, have you ridden an RVF?

Nope, not at all?? Cant be any worse tho... ;)

Liking the handling and "sticky" feel of the NC23, and the grunt of the V4 motor - hence an RVF....

Life is too short not to make it shorter... :D
