Re: nc30 jap spec headlight bulbs to UK spec ?
Most bulbs seem to be about 18gbp for any decent one.. even down at halfords their own brand h4's are 19.99 each!
There 16.50gbp in Japan for a single bulb too.
I couldn't find them on Cradley Kawasakis ebay site but it might be worth giving them a call.. perhaps they were selling off excess stock?
I'm guessing they dont' make as many of them as they used to has driven the price up.

MWaP,
E mail me a delivery address and you can have my old 60/35s, no charge.
The dip is far to dim for my worn out eyes, mainly at morning half light and in the dusk
I can only use 60/55 now

Re: nc30 jap spec headlight bulbs to UK spec ?
I had this problem with my '89 Jap import.
What you do is get a nail of about 3-4 inches and hold it horizontally above the locking tabs.
Bend the tabs up to hold it in place and the nail now acts as yòu tabs and earth out point.
If I can find the guide I had I'll post it for you. I'm running the 'extreme brilliance' xenon halfords bulbs which are 90% brighter than a halogen

Doesn't the additional wattage of the bulb burn out the wiring loom?

the contacts on the switch gear on the LH handlebar hence the need for a Relay.

you can also buy 'laser cut' adapter rings to fit the bulbs.
If your using a JDM model make sure you have a relay fitted

That's a much better solution than using a nail which always ends up pointing the bulb skywards.Neosophist wrote:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H4-Bulb-Adapt ... 3a68cd5467
