Re: RVF400 NC35 Front Brake Switch
LOL really? I might get one tomorrow and see how that goes. It seems to leak near the cap so to me that points to the seal but when I had a looked before seemed alright. Tomorrow i'll look into it some more in the light I guess.amaechizzle wrote:Shouldnt be a leak... If the radiator cap is stuffed.
Just ask for one that is the same as a 1991 2.6L Holden TF Rodeo
And I guess just normal green coolant?

Once you top it up and bleed it thoroughly it might work a little better, too. The motors get pretty hot, probably more so in Oz.

Definately not green coolant.
Go to your local bike shop, and they will have what you need.
I'll post a pic of what I use at home, and My motor is freezing :)

Re: RVF400 NC35 Front Brake Switch
I didn't realise it's the same part as other models. Most parts that are exclusive to RVF's/ VFR's are pretty hard to come by in Aus, usually have to source them from overseas or wreckers.
Also, the overflow bottle is under the seat on the right side of the bike (side that your brakes are on.) It shouldn't be overflowing unless it runs pretty hot though

The clamp on the overflow pipe at the the radiator neck may be loose or the pipe slip, happened to my NC30.

It seems to be leaking out of the pipe or cap.
I'll get a clamp and see if that fixes it, Wish me Luck :D
This must be it, I have no clamp at all on the end to the radiator.magg wrote:The clamp on the overflow pipe at the the radiator neck may be loose or the pipe slip, happened to my NC30.
