First race, Ring Djursland in Denmark, picture can be seen at http://motorsportsfoto.dk/indexCLASSICTT20-08-11_2.html (white and racing green bike, IMG 8828 LF28).
The VFR 400 preformed great - despite a desperately nervous rider.

buy this for your NC24. You'll most likely NEVER see another kit forsale.
The engine internals of the TT-F3 kit.
Just need the exhaust and radiator set-up and you'll be pushing mid 70's of bhp.

Re: NC24 - Norwegian "Formula 80-87" project
Race kit from Japan - very tempting! After thorough consideration I have desided to spend my money on suspension and tyres, as the bike seems to have the power I need for learning and ending up about middle in the class as is.
The Scandinavian season is now ending, and over winter I will rebuild the fork with stronger springs and disable the antidive mecanism. I will also refurbish the rear shock - or maybe just swap it for a Hageon unit. The cost is about the same.
I will do another season on the original wheelset. I ran Battlax BT45 this two raceweekends, dry courses - preformed better than expected. The tyres warmed up well and stayed at a good working temperature for 12 laps at a time with a slightly reduced air pressure.
I have found (at Webike Japan) a Dunlop tyre in the right dimensions, TT 900 GP. Apparently race compound, good for classic racing. Anyone tried theese?? Any thoughts on preformance in wet compared to BT 39? Should I run a second set of rims with BT 39 for dry track... Hm - so much easyer for the guys on the old CBR 600s with 17 wheels - all with the choice of slicks and raintyres
Well, anyway - the VFR is possibly the most admired bike in the class, beeing photographed and discussed all weekend, and i love driving it
Race no 2 in Sweeden last week of August:

BT39's are great in the dry and cheaper too. I'd recommend a set on spare wheels.
