All in between £400 and £500 sterling, depending on k5 or k7 rotor price.

I've just been looking through here about running total loss.Drunkn Munky wrote:Why not just remove the flywheel? Being racebikes why would you need it.
Is it as simple as just removing the flywheel, at least just for now until i make up my mind if this is what i want to do with out stripping everything out?

Re: NC35 Lightweight Flywheel...or Crank?
From what I've read in the HRV RVF racing manual, they suggest doing the following (it sounds pretty simple, but I've not done it myself):
AC Generator:
1.Take an ACG cover off
2.Take a flywheel off with special tools.
Flywheel holder: 07725-0030000
Rotor puller: 07733-0020001
Take a generator coil off with wrench.
Install a grommet in racing kit on ACG cover and set the cover back to vehicle.
Grommet: 32972-NF2-720

I think that part's NLA - just cut the generator wires off each end of the standard grommet and you're done!RoninZX-10R wrote: Install a grommet in racing kit on ACG cover and set the cover back to vehicle.
