Carbon Exhaust Wrapping??

Post by Causon67 »

Hi im was wondering if it was possible to get a carbon wrap that would be able to go around and exhaust can, I know that it would have to be heat proof. I have been looking on the net for it for a while now and was just simply wonder if anyone on here knew if it could be done.
Cheers

firstly carbon is a base form mineral of that of similar scientific properties to that of charcoal, so it is extremely heat resistant, i chucked some carbon mat into a bonfire to see what would happened just came out the same but grey!

a few options, wrapping looks naff, cheap but as is.

new carbon sleeve/tubes are readily available, and you can repack the exhaust,

OR

just buy a carbon can for not alot on ebay,
