Help needed with nc 23 project

Post by r1kster34 »

Hi ive only just joined 400 greybikes but have read many posts wich have helped alot while working on mine and my bros little project,(loyds, etc). we started off with a 1989 nc23 bog standard bike, we stripped it down and decided to give it a make over lol, so this when the fun started (now we on a budget so tygra kit was out plus we thought it was dang ugly) we first started on the rear, fitting an cbr 600 2003 seat cowl and thanks to loyds posts was able make sides fit(big thanks) i then went ebay hunting lol where i picked up a whole set of cbr 600 rr 2003 fairing nice and cheap, anywho cut a long story short we got all body work fitting great with just one down fall, and im sure uve guessed it the clocks, there just not enough room. so this where im asking for help guys and gals as i know theres alot of wisdom here :P. before anyone sayd fit a digital dash like kosvo etc we dont have that kind of cash. im just wondering is there anyother way of doing it could we use a different speedo from cbr im thinking cbr 600 fl(not digital one) iv checked the forums best i could before posting this so i hope i posted it in right place. any help would be appreciatted

thanks

it sounds very interesting. Upload pics to photobucket or something similar and post the image link :)

Also those dash's sound interesting. Maybe a review and a link to show which ones you got. Could help out a few others or a looking for a new dash or who have a project similar to yours :)

dash looks ultra pro dude. How easy to fit? Is it the magnet on the front wheel?

Shame it wouldn't suit a original nc23 :(
