Hi all,

New to this site, just bought an nc23... just a few things about changing the fairings etc.. what years cbr600 fit? what will take the least work on a budget?

The usual answer about this question.. don't bother. Make it work as it should anbd get a CBR6 when you can afford it.

You'll make the 400 worth less when you try to sell it.

As it goes though - do what you like 8-)

I dont see how it changes how it works.. Its only fairings. Was only asking anyway.

You are right. I was making the point hat it is better to have a bike that handles very well, has good power and brakes rather than one that looks like a bike it is not and does not go fast and handles like shit too..

People on here have modded them to look like 600s - have a look about, some are very nice. They also have got suspension sorted and so on..

You needed a V4 anyways :o :mrgreen:

Ive had a vfr before! Wish id never sold it! The reason i was asking... Ive been offered a seat unit and tank cover for pretty much pennies from an 07 600rr... If i can pick the rest of the bits up cheap enough it could be worth it.. If i dont like it i can always swap back! Just wondering if the 07 will fit easily?

dont do it,
go for 06 fairings, i have 07 kit on mine and bits are hard to get and cost lots would have cost half as much for the 06 stuff and half the time

Thanks mate. I will keep an eye out for 06 parts.. theres full kits on ebay for 200 quid but im guessing they will be a terrible fit for that money?

yeah some are not good, abit hit or miss, cost in a front fairing bracket which makes life abit more simple

Theres sets on ebay actually in the UK. They claim to be a good fit so i've asked if I can return them if im not happy
