Nc30 oil level check

Post by yazza54 » Sat Aug 20, 2011 10:31 am

When checking my oil level on the dipstick, should it be screwed all the way in then checked or just put in to the first thread?

have you put something under the sidestand so the bike isnt leaning over too much.?
if its leaning over over you wont get an accurate reading either. it needs to be as upright as possible..

The bike is dead level, currently sat on a rear paddock stand and a front headstock stand. The bloke who owned it before me must have checked it when fully screwed in. Topped up now, took about 450ml..
