Hey,

somehow missed this thread till now had a read through and is giving me some inspiration to get a move on with mine, Have you fitted the shock yet?? if son hows it performing, from mountainbiking i know fox stuff is regarded as top spec for suspension, and used to be involved in motox way back when.

Think ive found an identical shock so just wondering if its worth the investment.

All the best

Hi it appears the shock was not a Fox item as first thought, it looked very similar but the company that rebuilt it thought it was a Quadrent one and it was not up to job of track use.
Ive since purchased a Aprilia RS250 unit that has been rebuilt to suite the NC and its really good. So unfortunatly i cant comment on Fox items but like you said, they are rated as good kit in the mountain biking world etc.

Well she runs, and if im honest its not bad for its first run on rough settings
Took a video of it running but its that loud that the microphone on my camera cant cope with the induction roar
Need to balance the carbs but cant access the adjuster screws with the tray fitted but have to remove the carbs anyway as i need to adjust the pilot air screws as the revs are just abit too slow to drop back to idle (set at 1.5 turns out but think it needs to be at 1.25 out? Cammo?).
