will the seat latch from an nc23 fit nc29?

What about the lock mechanism?

YES and NO!

The lock will fit but you will have to modify it.

1) Flip the arm lever over - it faces the wrong direction
2) Flatten part of said arm ( or grind it out, I just hit with a hammer ) - you will see when you flip it over
3) Grind some metal away at the end of the lever
4) Slightly bend the lever on the mech in the back section of the bike towards the fuel tank.

Mine was a pattern one so an OEM may be diff.


Easier to do with part of the rear fairing off as as you can see where its snagging.

If you are after a complete lock set

1) the wiring for the ignition is wrong - but again can be modded.
2) fuel tank cap is fine - well mine is.
