Anyone help? No spark.

Post by fruitcake8685 »

Just a quick one. Dropped the engine, put back in. Running before not running now. Well, no spark. Changed ECU still no spark(not that). Also noticed the kill switch worked before but now turns over when switched off. Changed some of the ends off the wiring but still no spark.
Reason for dropping the engine was a refresh so should have gone straight back on and fired up.
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers in advance for any replys.

If the kill switch isn't cutting the power when in the off position I assume you've either got some wires crossed causing the kill switch to be looped out, or maybe you've trapped and shorted a wire somewhere when replacing the engine.

I agree with the above - but check the wires to the pick ups on the end of the crankshaft are connected properly.
