RVF Video
Went for a rip on my RVF with my gopro cam. Stock RVF for the most part. 160 power pure rear, Castrol plastics and some carbon here and there.....
Good reference for exhaust sound.....tyga full system to go on. I have the maggot and the new carbon back cap can so I'll be able to video both for comparison. Will post once installed.

Here's the youtube link.

Re: RVF Video
Your bike looks lush in that paint scheme, and the GoPro footage looks so crisp and clear - nice angle too!
Not a fan of your leathers though
makes my skin crawl watching your jumper ride up - you might as well be topless if you hit the floor, I can't ride with anything less than full leathers.

Re: RVF Video
agreed on the leathers....I wear them always....well famous last words. Truth be told I do but it was 36 degrees and too hot really to be riding. Gotta work on the mounting of the cam....and remove the source of the clicking.
Really just wanted a baseline vid to compare the stock sound to my tyga full system to go on as time permits.
carbon can looks nice too and might be more reasonable.

As far as roads....I hate city driving.....gotta have eyes everywhere....but I'll soon post some of our twisty country roads.......tasty.
Just love the 3/4 rear view of these things.

Re: RVF Video
The clicking happens because nobody uses the piece of rubber that came with the gopro to stop the clicking.

Re: RVF Video
that piece is not used when using the suction cup mount....only the solid permanent mounts.
I must confess that part of the noise was from a tad loose chain which fixed some noise and feels better....I had some backlash that needed to be taken care of.
Too bad Gopro never put any indication in the instructions on how to use the rubber damper......did the google search when I couldn't figure it out, but in this case it's not used.

Fair enough then! I use the suction cup for everything as well as i don't really want to put a permanent mount on my bike just yet (although they are not really permanent).Newflee wrote:that piece is not used when using the suction cup mount....only the solid permanent mounts.

Re: RVF Video
I like the way the tank looks....and its a tyga tank cover that came with the factory style painted panels I'm saving for later once the Chinese panels get old looking...however they are still like new.
