Radiator Restoration

Recently had both radiators fitted with new recores and a lick of paint.
I've not seen much about radiator refurbishment, so thought i'd show of the work done by West Mercia Radiators in Wedenesbury in the West Midlands, in case anyones looking to get this done. The bottom Rad was £190 + VAT and the Top rad was £250 + VAT (due to being curved)
Looking forward to getting them fitted as they were in a pretty bad state when i took them off, should help the bike look better when i eventually get round to completing the bike to a rolling chassis.

For that sorta money I'd have bought new alloy ones.

I'm with you here.
While its good to keep someone here in a business I think the cost was simply uneconomical.
But the do look spangly :)

Your right, it does work out the same as buying some new aftermarket ones, i think there is literally a few quid in it.
But I'm restoring the bike to it's original state, hence not going for the aftermarket ones.

It's just a shame you go to all that effort, only to hide them behind the fairing!

This is true, they are hidden BUT from this point on when your sitting it traffic you will not have your arse melting because if over heating!
