SP1 discs

Post by Lane » Sat Jul 23, 2011 12:15 am

Hey,

I know this topic has been covered a thousand times as i have searched and searched but i cannot find the answer to my particular question.

I have the 600rr calipers and matching master cylinder, however, the bike also needs new discs.

So, can the 320mm discs off the SP1/2 be used with this combination? Is there enough clearance for the extra 12mm radius?

Or will the bike end up being over braked?

Sorry again for the common question but i really did search my arse off!

I think the mounting holes on the sp1 discs are different to the 30's discs

As is the mounting offset so together with the extra diameter a complete non starter.
