Last few issues: idle drops on sidestand? And rad cover
Right then, putting it all back together, I have two slight issues well one is slight and I hope the other is too.
Easy one - The fixing screw on the left hand side middle of the rad cover looks like it will foul, or even pierce the fan connector block, a shorter screw will fix it but Im wondering if anything may be in the wrong place?
More puzzling is the tickover, fine when vertical on the abba stand and when upright but put it on the side stand and the revs drop by a couple of hundred, any thoughts or suggestions welcome?
Edit: Ignore the rad cover bit, doh smaller screw = easy fit, picked the wrong one out of the box! "Twat" I know.

Re: Last few issues: idle drops on sidestand? And rad cover
Sounds like the float heights might be a bit off..
leaning the bike changes the height of the fuel in the floats slightly and this could be affecting it.
Are you twiting the bars on the side-stand? your throttle cables might be pulling a little keeping the idle higher and the slack created on the side-stand alleviates it

Pretty sure the floats are OK, I did think the cable may be a bit tight when I put it together, I'll double check itNeosophist wrote:Sounds like the float heights might be a bit off..
