The Chinese have been doing metallurgy for centuries longer than anyone else.

Funny then, that they haven't really got the hang of it. I presonally wouldn't be buying parts where you are reliant on the quality of the metals and plating from China. Looked into ABEyet? £80 each and they are known to be good.

All of Boeings commercial fleet include parts made in China, this includes some of the wings and body panels.

There is plenty of good stuff made over there, but for a price! When the price drops so does the quality, quite dramatically too!

I think it's the same everwhere, you get cheap crap made in the UK too.. China has a lot more people hence a huge increase on the cheap crap production.

+ everyone seems to be hungry for cheap crap than buying expensive stuff built to last.

Do you not want to buy my race bike's old forks for ..err..say £99*? Pretty sure they are as bob on as you'd want them to be. Late model ones too. New seals, slightly stiffer than std and nicely

*come get them for that...
