NC23 exhaust silencer advice
After some advice / pointers in the right direction. Sorry if this a pleb of a question but i dont know what i am looking at with exhausts.
My end can, currently a carbon slip on (stainless steel headers) is simply too loud for me atm. I have repacked it and fitted a db killer but its still too much. I cant start my bike up after the kids are in bed as it wakes them up (they are in bed for 7 !) so enough is enough. I also dont like the attention it draws when i open the throttle.
I never seem to catch the bargains on ebay and am worried i will buy something which will kill the performance of the bike or simply be a loud mother anyway.
I still want it to sound nice, just not as loud as the thing on it. Is there a particular make, size, style etc etc of can i should be on the lookout for? Any recommendations?

Either standard or Quill T3. They are brilliant - as quiet (or quieter) than standard cans until 5k or 6k rpm, then let loose with a subtle race can's howl - think of Akrapovic type noise levels, rather than ART type noise levels.bnnunn1 wrote:i have a standard can you can have for a reasonable price and i think the bike still sounds nice with this on but not deafening like the aftermarket ones do pm me if interested

If you are using a slip-on then that means you'll need an adapter to fit the standard 3 stud silencer.

Re: NC23 exhaust silencer advice
Thanks for the pointers,
Sorry Dan, once i heard a T3 - thats what I settled on.
I have one on the way now, hopefully it is ok in the flesh. I am assuming all the T3 cans are the same/similar apart from the fittings as the one i got isnt specifically for a NC23, it was listed on ebay for a TT600? For the money I paid I am happy to take the risk it wont fit anyway.
Anyone know where i can get an adapter to fit it on my bike, ie this T3 coming is a 3 bolt end can and it needs to fit on my exhaust as a slip on. I am hoping the fitting on my carbon can will swap over but if they dont i will have to get something else.

IIRC the TT600 bolt pattern is a 3x95mm, this might well fit, but not too sure tbh http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1200-Suzuki-B ... 2c5e52ffaf
