I tend to be rather old skool in turning the tap off when I stop anyways - my 400/4's tap didnt have any of this high tech - high jinks... :)

Mr Silver has come back to say the diaphragm and o-ring I need to rebuild it is only avalaible as a complete unit as the petrol tap....
Am waiting to hear back if this is even still avaliable & get a price - anyone got a spare tap hanging around??

Just get a petrol tap off ebay and take the bits out of it that you need....they go pretty cheap,

Opened the tap up - to find a big split in the diaphragm....

No wonder..... have removed the spring for the meantime, will order a new diaphragm if poss from Mr.Silver....
