Classic Bike Trackday Cadwell Park July 29th

Nothing more to say really, if it's been organised it'll be here.

Classic Bike Trackday Cadwell Park July 29th

Post by RickOliver » Sun Jun 12, 2011 8:12 am

A friend who is involved with Classic Bike Trackdays suggested that I post a pointer to this event `cos he thought the 400gb clan would be interested...

Classic Bike trackday at Cadwell - no do-or-die maniacs on modern superbikes, lots of interesting classic race bikes on track, usual facilities, on track instruction and paddock dyno available.

Practical Sportsbike magazine will be there so you might even get your bike featured.

Qualification is rider over 18, bike-pre 1995 so that counts most of us in.

More details here - http://www.classicbiketrackdays.com/cadwell.shtml - if anyone is interested...

Thanks for posting this up Rick and to CRM for letting me blather on about it .
As rick has said we are running a track day with practical sports bike mag on Friday 29/7/11 its run buy bike nuts who do ride and own the bikes we are trying to get out on track, im one of them
We have given a lot of thought as to what we want out of the day to make the day a little diffrent from the run of the mill trackday where 200mph missiles are up your chuff or £1.50 ebay specials are shoving it up the inside of you (ooo errrr) dreaming of being rossi and for you lot not to be forgotten and left to your own devices once we have your money
We have two top instructors ( two of the seven in the country that are licenced to do track tuition ) ,limited numbers on track so you have a bit of room .
Its about getting like minded folks out together ,so please have a look at the web site http://www.classicbiketrackdays.com and if the few we do this year work out well we will try to get more off the groung next year (we have to order the sun to appear well in advance)
cheers rob
oh yes my mate thats running it with me is into strokers ,which as we all know are good for petrol lawn mowers but thats about it ,so the more four strokes there the less pollution i have to breath in

Rick - I'd go with you if you hire a van with me so I can put my bike in the back.

I'll be having a ride up there but won't be on track because I've got at track day booked on Aug 5th but will be nice to meet up and put some names to faces. I will take my camera and get some pics too while I'm there ;)
