Hi All

I hope some 1 out there with a lot more knowledge than me can help !!!!

After reading some posts earlier about carby stuff it got me wondering

firstly what would a ball park fiqure be for an nc30 idle ? ( mine idles at just under the 2k mark and is used daily for commute to and from work )

secondly this led me to try and identify which model i have ? after checking the forum model ident info i,m ieven more confused than i was not knowing because my frame and colour codes to marry up !!!!

my frame id starts with Nc-30 1011
and my colour label says
model vfr400r III k
color nh-259m
code nh259h

do theses details make sense to anyone
this is wot i get for thinking about stuff to do while i'm on holiday lol

Your bike can idle where you want,about 1500rpm I'd guess. Dead easy to adjust, just turn the screw by your left knee.
How hard can it be?

That means it's an R3k model, the 1989 model nc30.
