When fitting the top yoke stem nut does everyone turn the bottom yoke so its resting on the right stopper when tightening it clockwise?
... or is there a better way to do it and avoid any possibility of the yokes twisting etc?
I know the stanchions should keep the yokes straight but thought id ask anyway!!
cheers

Re: Tightening the stem top nut
Fork tubes are such a tight fit through the yokes I doubt they'd sit anything other than straight.
How hard can it be?

Re: Tightening the stem top nut
I begin by nipping the top yoke pinch bolts up, otherwise yes it may spread as you tighten the top nut. I wouldn't worry about it much though, did you ever try bending 41mm foks? Not half as easy as the old-school 35 and 37mm stuff from the 80s.
