throttle cable routing?
I thought I'd fixed my sticky throttle issues, well I have partly, however when I fitted the rad back it sort of returned. Being slow to spring back on full right lock, I can only assume its routing problems
Can someone please go have a look at the routing on their bike and se if it looks like mine?
See here:

The above is from the throttle and the top cable crosses under the lower as it passes over the yoke
And here:

Is what it looks like on the left side, from the yoke towards the frame, again a cross over (and a rusty stanchion!!!)
I'd appreciate some feedback on what it ought to look like, I expect routing is pretty crucial
Thanks

Those are some usefull diagrams, I was starting to forget where all the pipes, connectors go. Will be very handy when reassembling my bike. Thanks for sharing :)Neosophist wrote:Download the honda workshop manual.. the cabel routings are in there.

Re: throttle cable routing?
From the manual it looks like they shouldn't cross over, I have to take the carbs off yet again to fit new rubbers, so I'll sort the routing out then
I'll get there eventually!
Cheers
