NC23 Ignitech Programmable CDI's - Offer ends 14/8!!

Post by BillingCBR »

Hi all,

When I went to pick my Ignitech up from Rick O I got talking to him about an Ignitech for my NC23. He said if I want one he'll see if they have them listed. If they don't I can send them my own CDI (Gold RRJ one) and they'll copy it, but will need 5 units made I think.

If 4 of you want one I'll let Rick know and he can see about getting them sorted. If anyone has the HRC one they would be willing to LEND so the map can be read that would be great, it would obviously be sent recorded, insured and very well packaged

I would take one.

As far as I am aware no one has an HRC CDI for the 23, I have never seen one ever! I do however have this CDI:

I am unsure if it has a different map to standard but am willing to send it to Rick O to see if you want.

We're run Microsquirt-II only as ignition module (without fuel ijection) on one of our enduro. But Microsquirt has open code and you able to change spark advance as you like. So, Ignitech not only one alternative. And trigger wheel is 8-1 pattern, same as NC23 use and no modification required.

PS: NC29 has 12-3 trigger wheel, but it also support by Microsquirt code.

Sorry, I need to underlying that Ignitech also has software to change spark advance map. And of course it will be easy to fit and cheaper.

I think the Ignitech units wind up about £135, so are pretty cheap for what they offer. At the least they have adjustable ignition mapping, rev limiter adjustment and rev counter accuracy adjustment.

If you want to send the unit you have Liam that's fine, they can read the map off it I think, I expect it'll be a derestricted one, but no harm in trying :) So that's 2, just need 3 people interested and I'll shoot Rick a PM and ask him to ask Ignitech for me :)

Yup no problem can send it to you. I also have a spare Gold CDI somewhere that I could send to save your bike being without a CDI for a while. Just let me know when you want them

Nice one Wozza

Liam, I'll probably have mine out of the bike anyway when I strip it down, plus I've got the NC30 on the road :)
