GEARBOX
Hi everyone,
New to the forum and new to superfour ownership.Im really enjoying my recently completed project, but not overjoyed with the clunky gearbox. Is it a case of They all do that ,sir.or have i got a bad one? No problems with missed gears or false neutrals--- just noisy changes.Im using Motorex 10-40 oil,is this ok?
Thanks for any advise.

Re: GEARBOX
My gearbox seems pretty sweet, although I often ride a BMW boxer, not noted for having a smooth change, so maybe I'm not the best judge of these things.

Re: GEARBOX
My 92 superfour clunks into first gear when first moving off but only then it has a slight whine in 3rd and 5th but hey it is 19 years old and still going well.

Re: GEARBOX
My CB400SF has a definate clunk to 1st then when you change down also. A mate says it is common in Hondas. Ed
