NC35 Pilot Screw Setting

Hey guys, my pilot screw setting is 2.25 turns, that's how it was when I took them out to clean them and they run fine on it.

But the haynes manual says 1.625 turns, should I adjust it to that?

No i would put it back to 2.25 - if it aint broke

2.25 is a lean setting on rvf carbs.. the 30 carbs specifiy 2 a bit turns out, but 35 is 1 and 5/8

Well..I doubt Jeff is going to argue whether he is more of a geek than I!

Depends on your total setup but it would seem that some clever sod has taken as gospel the write up Cammo did for NC30 carbs and applied it to NC35 carbs...unless you have NC30 carbs on your NC35...

You can always try it.

Note the exact position of each of the pilot screws on each carb before you adjust.

Hey Jeff, I have NC35 carbs with 108 jets on all 4 and 35 pilot.

Standard set up then! I'd go with the standard 1 5/8 turns for the pilots!
