All CBR400-CBR900-954-CBR600 - and I think CBR1000 forks fit straight.

I think you'll be best sticking to the original rear wheel. It's pretty tight betweent the swingarm "forks" I think anything bigger would be a struggle. That saaid, has anyone tried a CBR600F2-3 rear wheel? Tyre size is the same but sprocket is different.
My pick would be late CBR900RR forks. I fitted '97 900RR forks to my CB-1, slotted straight in with just a little adjustment to the lock bracket.

Yep you are pretty stuck when it comes to a rear, forks however are plentyfull but some of the info Parus has given is misleading, any forks can be made to fit but if you want to use the standard NC29 yokes then only 41mm forks will fit, depending on which CBR model you go for will dictate how much fork leg you have sticking out of the top yoke to keep the correct geometry.
For instance CBR600 F3 fork go straight in and even use the same calipers but the will stick out the top of the yoke around 100mm. As for the CBR1000 Parus means the old one not the new Blade.
If I were you I would look for some late model 29 forks that are fully adjustable and rebuild them with NC30 fork bottoms, saying that you have the yokes so with a little engineering any forks can be made to fit.

Re: what other honda items fit NC29
No they will fit because they are 41mm, I don't know of any total front ends that are a straight swap.
You said the bike has no forks does it have yokes?
As far as I know the only rearsets that are the same are really early model 900s and NC23.
And Graeme France can sort you out with single seats, bodywork, exhausts and all manor of carbon trinkets.

You would need the full lot, yokes, forks, calipers, clip-ons, mudguard. But you can use CBR400 front wheel and discs if you have them.wedge wrote:i was thinking about complete cbr900rr front end.....so what you's are saying they will fit as the stem is the same size length etc??????????....im happy to keep the nc29 rear thats if i can find one..is there any other model rearsets that can fit nc29??...last but not least....who sells the single seat units and race fairings???
Here are some pictures of me fitting cbr900 forks to a cb-1. I think CB-1 / CBR400 forks are interchangable? Dimensions in the pictures, you just have to confirm the bearings are the same dimension as CB-1 and CBR900 92-99, I think they are.
