which is normally associated with nitrous use.
if/when its all sorted, you should get your self over to the bulldog bash RWYB, i believe there is a chap from the old site who also runs a nitrous NC29.. i am sure hed be happy to finally get a worthy opponent. and if you do go.. i will deffo go to see that.

lol,

bulldog bash rwyb. Wanky times this year through trying to run it on nitrous when the track was rubbish and it was trying to rain. - wanky times last year cos of a slipping clutch. - and winning the sub 500 class for the 3 years before that.

The times get quicker and quicker every year, last year a 11.x won it. the best ive done is a 12.2 and that was off nitrous and the bike was totally standard apart from the the gearing.

It was TimB on the other site that had the nitrous, not sure if he has migrated over here, hopefully he has cos his views on biking etc are spot on. I dont know if he has the 29 anymore.

Im hoping to get some runs in at santa pod before next year. it would be good to see what the bike can do when im not missing gears or wheelspinning. 14 second runs with nitrous arent exactly inspiring!

can you get in to the "sprint" tracks for extra practise?
"sprint" as they keep telling me its not drag racing.. looks the same to me!

I think the major difference is that sprinting is fastest time wins and drag racing is first to the end wins that race and then you go to the next round. - i could be wrong. if i was being cynical i would say that sprinting is proper people on proper bikes and drag racing is american.

I think rwyb is somewhere in the middle.

sprinting would be cool. im not sure how new the bikes are allowed to be or what acceptable in the way of modifications but it would be fun to run the 4 at some events to see how it does.

And it looks so standard! The bits i would love to get are those fairing infill panels that someone put pictures up of a while ago. they look standard and they would cover the nitrous pulsoids.

in-fills can be hard to find.. but i think the likes of DSSpares have them.. GF may have them as well.

sprint, i dont think there is a age limit.. + our bikes are 15+yrs old! i think so long as you pass scrutineers your ok.
i'll see what i can find out from a local mechanic, he hangs about with some guys who sprint.

back on topic - that would be hit by the rear wheel on compression - you should move it to the side to increase clearance

that looks like i will end up turning the 400 into a full on drag bike!

Mind you, some of the times that they are posting are acheivable so it might be worth giving it a go. the nitrous might dictate what class im in but i could always take it off and run the bike without it. Whatever i do, i think track fairings might be a good idea!
