With the best will in the world, if you are not confident at fabricating brackets and such, then you need to stay away from modifying your bike. Otherwise you will end up with - at best - a rough bike which works but has issues brought by yourself or - at worst - an UFP which you have to sell on for much less than it's worth as you can't get it to go back together.

Re: cbr600 conversion
Sorry, I completely disagree. You have plenty stuff selling over UK for CBR400 to make it looks like stock bike ever if you unable to do brakets and fit fairing. I just started to do modifications, but I was clear that time consuming, pricey and etc, but I like it. So, if you willing to do this not just save money for getting 400cc bike like 1000cc, but like to have something individually looking - Just do it and enjoy !!!!amorti wrote:Exactly.lloydiecbr wrote:Then I would thing it be better if you didn't do .it just buy a 600rrbnnunn1 wrote:i would have no idea how to do this sort of thing im no good at fabricating brackets etc

This is my bike 2 years ago. When I'll finished with last modification it will be first fuel injected CBR400.
