If so, Valve spring free length (inlet and exhaust)

inner spring
standard..............29.28 or 28.89 mm
service limit(min)...28.80 or 28.60 mm

outer spring
standard..............31.90 or 32.08 mm
service limit(min)...30.60 or 30.80 mm


You will find all the specifications for the nc21 and the nc24 at the back of the nc30 haynes workshop manual .

Thanks but I mean the ones that connect the link-pipe to collectorbox. I'd consult the parts book or service manula but they are not at this house and can't seem to find a diagram of the exhaust on the net to get the part number to look it up.

Afaik there is just a clamp on there not springs,. :?

The springs obv don't wrap around there just cheap longer springs that I could find.

I'll have access to the parts book next week, i'm sure i've seen them in there.

Dave Silvers dont' seem to know what i'm on about either.

Pic of your downpipe would be useful? :)
