Re: MPH Speedo
blue convertor gearbox that plugs in between the speedo and the cable is the only way to get MPH AFAIK (except POSSIBLY an early Fireblade one?)

Gold ones won't work with the type of setup these bikes run I believe

It uses gears inside the blue thing to change it to mph

Re: MPH Speedo
Thereby meaning your speedo needle only swoops over the first 2/3 of the dial... doesn't help much with reading it!Yakama wrote:It uses gears inside the blue thing to change it to mph

Re: MPH Speedo
I had one for over a year, and never had any trouble reading the dials at all, especially seeing as you don't need much more than 1/3 of the dial anywayamorti wrote:Thereby meaning your speedo needle only swoops over the first 2/3 of the dial... doesn't help much with reading it!Yakama wrote:It uses gears inside the blue thing to change it to mph

Thats strange, mine usually goes at least half way, no problem..BillingCBR wrote:I had one for over a year, and never had any trouble reading the dials at all, especially seeing as you don't need much more than 1/3 of the dial anyway
