Nc30 running on 2 cylinders

Post by shokrabi »

Hi everyone, the bike hasn't had a run properly since April when i went to pembrey last. Since then i have fitted a hrc system bought from Carlos (who is the man).
Started her up today about 30min after fitting the system with a shed load of gum gum (exhaust paste). First of all it started and ran on 2 cylinders, then about 5min later the front right cylinder kicked in so now were on 3 cylinders.
At the mo its the front left cylinder that wont run as the down pipe is stone cold. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
I was just thinking and the fuel is 4months old nearly. Any other ideas i could try? Thanks

the spark plug on that cylinder is sparking. I know because the bike started on first push of the button and the damn spark plug electrocuted me.

Check what I said about balancing the carbs in the other thread... have a blast on the bike and see if the downpipes still cold? It should be warm after a blast, be carfeul not to burn yourself, flick some water on it...

tested the non running cylinder with a old spare spark plug and the bike fired on all 4, all is well now.
