You could quieten it down by using a Helmholtz Chamber instead of the standard baffle, it would have to be custom made by an engineering shop but would work if you really like the style.

Re: Akrapovic MegaPhone Slip-on (R6) for VFR400 ???

had it (temporary) fitted, held to the Pipe, and it Sounded like THuNDER !!!!!!!
made the most slightest difference, to the no Zorst noise, jeez it was Loud, even i agree

on the other note, just taken the Baffle out of my Tyga Exhaust, it snot bad, sounds a bit louder/deeper on idle etc, but doesnt sound Illegal IMO

i still do like the look of it tho

maybe one day... if i ever get an R6 then i may have this pipe on it,
thanks for all your advice, Adam

Your opinion is irrelevant. E-stamp or BS number, baffle inserted, or it IS illegal no matter what you think.butler46 wrote:Guys !!! im selling it on,..

I thought that they didn't have to be bs or bsau stamped anymore, and it was down to the MOT testers discression if it was too loud??
