wont rev past 5500
hi guys i have a cbr400 nc23 and it wont rev past 5500 i have fitted de-restricter circuit board purchased from gf racing but no luck
any ideas

have you got the clocks plugged in? sounds like the limp mode has cut in
'89 CBR400RRJ and '91 VFR400R NC30 project

He means the clocks plugged into the wiring harness. What did you have to do to install it? Retrace your steps from there.

unplug 3 pin connecter and plug de-restrictor into 3 pin block and bullet connector

Your problem is definitely with the 180km/h restrictor. Feed +12v to the orange/blue wire into the CDI and it will run right.
