not running right on all 4..
so yeturday i was fiddling with my bike preventing the rattle at 4k to 6k revs. so i put it all together then dropped it.. i say dropped it, it fell over the other way and i placed it on the floor as i had the strength the lower it slowly but not enough to pick it up from a 35degree angle.. i then picked it up as you do and started it to see if i had stopped the rattle..
it wasnt running on all 4 cylinders
as you sit on the bike, cylinder 3 was working.
i took it for a whiz around the block and yippee, the cylinder had kicked back in and it was working, it then ran like a dream all night..
come to go to work today and it was only running on 3 cylinders again.. i presume is was 1 2 and 4. Got about .1 km up the road and i could feel a change as like the cylinder had kicked back in :)
done my shit shift at work and started the bike up to come home..
running on 3 cylinders. i limp the bike home (it wont tick over) and got a wet sponge and put it on my headers..
3 and 4 make the sponge sizzle and they evaporate the water quickly. cylinder 1 and 2 just evapourate the water but without the sizzle telling me theyre not as hot as the other cylinders..
what can i do to resolve this problem?

Either a weak spark or fuelling is off. The latter could be a partly blocked jet, incorrect float heights, or simply the carbs need balancing. I would check the sparks, then balance the carbs if they've not been done for a while.

Re: not running right on all 4..
ive tried many different tools to remove sparks, i cant find a tool that will go all the way down and i dont exactly have the money to throw around to afford one..
the other day when it was running on 3 cylinders all the working ones were at same temp, but since all 4 work, 2 dont
is it bad to use the bike in its current state?

will adjusting the tick over screw on the side affect the heating of my headers..?
