Post by Delboy » Wed May 25, 2011 9:28 pm

Meeting a mate from work (ZX10R) at M1 J28 for a ride, probaly taking in Snake Pass.
I'm starting off from M6 J10 weather permitting, Bank Holiday Monday, leaving about 8am.
If anyone wants to tag along as he loves to wheelie @ 120+ so I need someone to keep me company til I catch up when he shoots off lol.

What time of day you talking?

Also, what is your route home? You need to represent the road to chapel en le frith, over to whalley bridge and then down fernilee reservoir to buxton...wicked roads...from buxton, over the cat and fiddle, or the congleton road

I'm in durham so possibly not about...I live southside of Shefield, near J29

Have funm but beware the snake has some awful surface as you approach up the moor top to Glossop - 30mph or you'll fall off...dusty, gravelly and shitty... the rest of it is buzzin.

Don't get flashed by cameras either - can be 3 locations for them - on the straight past ladybower, on the hill just after the snake pass inn and just as you come into glossop- 30 zone..if you are not on 30 when you hit it..you can get busted.

Damn. R6 is in for MOT on Monday lunch otherwise I'd have been up for a blast
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
