removing rear wheel

I am trying to remove the rear wheel from my NC30 1989 VFR400. taken the wheel nut of and the shim and spacer tried to pull wheel of the hub it seems to be stuck fast any idea's.

Somtimes they do need a good kick. :up: (Stick the nut back on though to save the wheel flying across the garage! And make sure it's on a good solid stand, Abba etc ;) )

Yeah, whack it..and when you get it off, make sure you stick a bit of copaslip on the axle for next time!

I've seen my mate use a sledgehammer on an alloy wheel that had corroded onto a VW Golf, even then he really struggles. I said he ought to drive it round the block once and see how far he got :grin:

Great a good kick got it off I think this back wheel has been on for years.
