Cadwell trackday

Post by fastdruid »

Just got back today from a cracking two day trackday at cadwell park, took two NC35's and had a go on a Slick Bass preped NC30 and a track NC29. Photographer was only there for the first day so only caught me playing on the NC's over the mountain.

I'm going to have to have a word with the photographer, get him to take pictures of me later, he keeps catching the front lifting or just before rather than the big wheelies.

Then a few shots with my wife on the bike,
A couple of NC's, 35 and 29 into mansfield.

And finally I know they're not NC's but I had to at least sneak some pictures of my bike in :D

Fantastic! Awesome! Great shots! I can't wait to get mine done so I can hit the track. Your wife looks good on the bike, real comfortable, having a good time, looking through the corner and not AT the photographer.

Photographer was Pete Wileman.

There were a few other photographers there, I'll post some more NC shots if I get them. :D

Yeah she's pretty good on a bike, she dropped it at cadwell last year and although she went out again (after a bit of fixing) it was wet by then and stayed wet, this is the first time we've been out since so she's a bit rusty and was taking it easy for the first day. Both NC35's were ace although the track one broke, leaking coolent from the thermostat housing. Easy fix though.

I love cadwell, this was my 11th and 12th trackday there. Fell off year before last (1 in 12, not bad odds). If I could I'd go every day. :D

The 400's are ace round cadwell, love them. My SV doesn't handle as well as the 400's but has more power and better brakes.

Thanks  :D part of the fun of cadwell, I wheelied every bike I rode. :D

cadwell is on my "must do" list, only time i've been it was lashing down with standing water in places so i wimped out (would have been my first time on track), leant my bike to someone else to ride and spent the day spannering.

Do it. Although I can understand the wimping out when it's soaking.
