Changing clocks on Super4

hi all,

i'm currently doing a bit of a reburb on a 93 super4 for my father. when we got the bike the clocks were broken. i sourced a used set but they are slightly diff from the original ones. everything looks the same (more or less) except the block contector on the restrictor in the clocks i'm trying to fit has 3 wires(black with brown, green and black with yellow) i'm told these clocks are from a 95my. my original loom restrictor block connector has only 2 wires(orange with blue and blue with orange)

i'm trying to reuse the loom i have for the old clocks to try to limit the amount of cutting and soldering to be done plus the loom on the new clocks is not very neat plus has a few extra wires.

can i put my original loom together with these clocks?

if i can use the loom i want but do the restrictor bypass mod i'd be happy but all the info on that mod describes only blue and orange wires
