Whats it worth.

Post by moblies »

Hi All,

I've owned my NC30 for two years or so and shamefuly it has sat in the garage in bits. Its a 1993 L reg, was in the Red/White/Black Type 7 I think. approx 45,000 kms. Fairings are shagged a couple of small dents in the tank which has faded, exhaust is blowing in the usual place although I have stainless collars just need welding on. 1 mirror has cracked glass but it starts on the button and sounds great.

Is Sorned and has been for 2 years since the MOT ran out. Was going to be my project as I always wanted a Red/White/Blue NC30 but with a new house , two young kids not sure I'll get around to it so need to free up some cash and buy something road ready.

I have various parts of fairings, spare Tank no dents but yellow, spare rear sub frame and undertray, new clutch cable, exhaust collars.

All it really needs is a fairing / screen and the exhaust fixed and it would be ready to go.

Any ideas what its worth as is and would it sell.

Not going to break it as it would be a tragedy.

Thanks

You'll find that it is worth not a lot as a project and as much as you don't want to see it broken..it is in scope for our forum breaker, Geoff33, to use it as a donor bike for all of our, closer to viability, project bikes!

It sucks...but this is how it is.

MOT on it - you'll get up to a grand depending on the rest of it

Thanks All,

Sounds like it may be a better option to chuck a set of Chinese plsatics on it and keep it as the bike is a runner and in good nick for its advanced years.

Kris - I'll get it out of storage and post some pics you can take a look and see what you think.
