Performance Bikes - Aftermarket fairings article

Post by cosy »

There was an article in Performance Bikes this month about aftermarket fairings. Apparently they are recommended these days, sure the finish may not be 100% but other than that hole alignment is there which is one of the main bug bearers.

Has anyone any thoughts or experiences of the chinese replicas please?

Think id take that artical with a pinch of salt, isnt it the same issue they had a 5 page spread on how a -1 front sprocket turns the new ZX10R rocketship into a peakier bike! FFS my grandad could have told you that. Same goes for chinky fairings, anyone with half a braincell knows there good value but there in no way a replacement for OE kit. They are what they are cheap and chearfull but work if your not bothered about your bike being spot on.

Thank you, did see the fairings on motocc ltd. Looks like they maybe the way forward, like the 95-98% accuracy rating on the site, maybe the 5-3% means hole alignment.

Will read that thread.
