Have you tested the alternator output? People tend to get target fixation when it comes to electrical problems on nc's: "oh, it's not charging, must be the regulator" when actually it could also be the alternator.jamie wrote:Hi Domski1
There are 3 wires going in from generator and 2 wires going out to battery.
Its deffinatly the reg though, i have tested the output terminals and there is no voltage there

All 3 phases of the alternator are generating voltage and the resistance between the windings is ok,
I got a new reg rec and new battery coming saturday so hopefully everything should run fine
