Is this the one you spent 175.00 on? Hell i'd buy it just for the urban tiger scheme :D

The engine / subframe etc is just signs of it being left outside / neglected, all of that is polishable and paintable when time / budget alows.

As long as the motor works good, everything else is fixeable.

I'd check the suspension / brakes work well and sort them if needed, rebuilding the calipers is easy (i have a guide if you need it and will cost you about 40.00 for new seals pins etc and will improve them no end)

everything else is a bonus.

Your missing a drain pipe off the exapansion bottle (i should have a spare or 5), let me know what your missing and i'll see what I have.

Yeah thats the one Neo, going to have a go at the subframes over the coming week, whip em off clean em up and smoothrite em, the fairings are original and in really good nick tbh, the brakes need fettling for sure, theres no brake fluid in the fron brake res so thats got to be sorted, but just going to take my time and hopefully get it right.
Right, off to work for another fun packed 12 night shift ;)

Cool, the paint scheme isn't original but genine plastic is always a plus.

calipers can go really shitty with neglect, forutantly 40 quid will overhaul all of the rubber components and providing you use proper grease, dont clean them with wd40 or get brake oil on them and check them once a year from then after and theyll last ages, they also work a stack better too

Where would the best place to do this ? the build thread appears to be locked, would the V4 section be the obvious choice ? sorry still finding my way round ;)

Not a happy bunny today, after waiting for nearly a month for the keys to turn up from the seller thay arrived today, unfortunately they don't fit the bike neither the ignition or the tank, so I will need to sort out a new ignition and fuel tank cap, so whats the easiest way to get the fuel tank cap off ? drill out the tumblers or bang a screwdriver in and use that to open the fecking tank, Ive had a search but just done the busiest 12 month night shift in years last night and had maybe 4 hrs of disturbed sleep and I'm absolutlely knackered and pissed off, so any help will come in very handy.
