Replacing trip reset knob
My bike came supplied without a trip meter reset knob......
This is a bit inconvenient on a bike with a smallish tank & no fuel gauge.
After a while pondering I came up with this;
A short length of thick wall vacuum tube pushed tightly onto the brass reset shaft inside the speedo, finish off with a plastic tyre valve cap to close the end of the tube
Works a treat & looks decent too

Reserve doesn't get you far, though. It's horrible riding along a motorway (autobahn is worst as it's illegal to run out of fuel there) and wondering if you'll make it to the next fuel stop.Neosophist wrote:They have reserve though?

how far away are the fuel stops :O
reserve should do at least 30 miles if you ride steady (48km)
