Carb floats sticking

I'm sure this has been asked hundreds of times before but rather than trawling through all topics I thought I'd take the easy option and ask again...

I have a GK76A which has been stood for several months now and as a result it has a flat spot when trying to pick up through the revs. The first time it did this I decided to remove and rebuild the carbs whilst fitting new o rings and gaskets. I then let the bike sit again and after another couple of months it did it again so onece again i stripped the carbs and cleaned them out.

I suspect that I have a sticky float which gets free'd up when I clean the carbs and put some fresh fuel through them but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?
Does anyone know if it's possible to get the bowls of the carbs whithout rmoving the carbs?

Can you get to the bottoms of the carbs whilst their on the bike?

I'm hoping that I can but I need to check the bike but as I store the bike away from home it's not just as easy as going and having a look hence the reason for asking for advice on here first.

You could try tapping the float bowl with a mallet or something to see if it unsticks the floats.
If you don't want to get the carbs out but give them a clean, then seafoam is quite effective!

The plan is to take the side panels off the bike this week and see if the bowls can be removed. What's seafoam as I've not heard of this before?

I hate to say this but any kind of carb cleaner in these carbs will cause issues unless you first remove all the plastic, o-rings, jets and emulsion tubes first. All of these parts react with the active ingredients of the carb cleaner and either perish or in the case of jets fur up.
Take the float bowl off see why of if it is sticking. If it isn't sticking there is a possibility of the float is perforated or it is leaking past the o-ring. Worst case is the float height is wrong and it needs setting to the correct height.

I am a member of another site based in the States......it is highly rated there, have'nt used it myself but if you don't wanna strip the carbs, this is an alternative.....obviouslt it won't fixed perished o rings and the like.

I'm confident that the o rings should be ok as they were renewed the first time that I strppied the carbs so I think I'll take the bowls of and give them a quick wash out and try some fresh fuel to see how I get on first of all.
I did consider sonic cleaning but don't know of anywhere that does it in the Bucks area.
